Self Branding was one of the hardest things I have had to do as a young designer. I thought it was going to be like any other logo that I had done before. I would start with some pencil drawings which I would then take the best ideas and take them into Adobe Illustrator and recreate them graphically. Things weren’t that simple. I found that as fast as I was coming up with new ideas I was finding reasons not to use that design even faster.
At one point I had thought I had found my logo and was satisfied with the work that I had done (As seen above in blue). But I knew I had to step away from everything and come back to it to see how I really felt and if I was happy. Once again I found myself not happy with my design not because it wasn’t a good design but, because it wasn’t the personality I wanted to portray myself as. Back to the drawing board I went and I finally came up with a concept that was everything I wanted. It was modern, clean, stylish, memorable and most importantly the logo showed who I am.
